Application Research of Python in Financial Accounting Data Processing and Analysis

Yao Fu

Abstract

In the era of big data, financial accounting is faced with the challenge of processing and analysis of massive, multi-source heterogeneous data. Python as a simple and powerful programming language, with its advantages in data processing and analysis, has been more and
more widely used in the field of financial accounting. This paper systematically discusses the application practice of Python in three aspects of
financial accounting data processing, data analysis and data visualization. In terms of data processing, Python can efficiently collect financial
data by means of web crawler and data interface, and use libraries such as Pandas for data cleaning, conversion and management. In terms of
data analysis, Python provides NumPy, SciPy and other numerical calculation libraries, which can facilitate financial statement analysis, index
calculation and risk assessment. In terms of data visualization, Python has a wealth of visualization libraries such as Matplotlib and Seaborn,
which can vividly and intuitively present the inherent laws and trends of financial data. Combined with practical cases, this paper expounds
the important application value of Python in improving the efficiency of financial accounting data processing and analysis and guiding financial decision-making, which can provide reference for the application of Python in the field of financial accounting.
