AI-Generated Contents (AIGC) Copyrightability Accreditation Based on Copyright Law Constructure

He Wen

Abstract

On March 16, 2023, the United States Copyright Office has published a guidance which officially repudiated AIGC copyright registration. Additionally, with the judgement by Beijing Internet Court published in 2024, drastic controversies concerning AIGC arose again. The
probable future of AIGC on copyright law remains inexplicit. Hence, amendments to Copyright Law are in need to fill the legislation blank
and clarify the copyrightability of AIGC.
