Design and Implementation of a Smart Bracelet
Abstract
gradually become an integral part of peoples daily lives. In the past, the public health services in China operated under a traditional working
model, where healthcare professionals had to perform all tasks manually, leading to significant labor and effort. This approach often resulted
in strained doctor-patient relationships and a waste of human and material resources. A more pressing issue is the growing problem of population aging, which has placed an even greater burden on the healthcare industry. To effectively alleviate these challenges, this paper presents
the design of a wearable smart device based on the STM32 platform. The device is capable of monitoring the heart rate, body temperature,
step count, and providing fall detection alerts for the elderly. Its simple and user-friendly design ensures better adoption among the elderly
population. This wearable device aims to assist Chinas public healthcare services in transitioning from traditional working models to a more
digitalized approach. It enhances the efficiency of doctors and nurses, reduces medical risks, and lowers hospital treatment costs, thereby contributing to the improvement of the healthcare system.
