Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Object Tracking Technology based on Computer Vision

Yan Xia

Abstract

UAV object tracking technology is an important branch in the development of UAV technology in recent years. It combines multidisciplinary knowledge such as computer vision, image processing and machine learning, so that UAV can automatically identify and track
specific targets in complex environment. The wide application of this technology, such as no dead Angle tracking of suspected targets in
security monitoring, or precisely find the ground receiving point in logistics distribution, has demonstrated its great potential. However, with
the increase of complexity and dynamics of the application environment, such as target occlusion, lighting changes and other factors, the realtime, stability and accuracy of object tracking has posed serious challenges, which is the current research hotspot and difficulty.
