Health Status Assessment of College Students Based on Case-based Reasoning and Extended Belief Rule Base after COVID-19

Li Chen

Abstract

In response to the health issues of college students after COVID-19, primary indicators affecting human health were obtained
through literature data, authoritative websites, and expert consultations. Questionnaire data collection indicators were organized. It used
a case-based reasoning approach to establish a students health case database. Subsequently, the most analogous cases was retrieved by
calculating similarity through the Euclidean distance method. Then the target cases health result was revised according to its actual situation through confidence level by extended belief rule base. Finally, the effectiveness of this health assessment method was validated
using the health survey data of college students in Fujian Province as an example. Compared with the decision tree model, SVM model,
EBRB based on the dynamic rule activation model and the proposed model, the results show that the proposed assessment method has
high accuracy and provides reference suggestions for emergency management decisions and contingency plans for public health in universities.
