Analysis of the Influence of Soil Porosity on Rainfall Infiltration under Different Environmental Conditions

Abstract


This study investigated the effects of soil porosity on rainfall infiltration rate and depth under different environmental conditions, such as vegetation cover, slope and rainfall intensity. Through the experiment and data analysis of soil porosity and rainfall infiltration rate under typical environmental conditions such as forest area, grassland and bare land, the results showed that the higher the soil porosity, the rainfall infiltration rate and penetration depth increased signifi cantly. By introducing the calculation formula of soil porosity and combining experimental data and analysis results, this paper reveals the infl uence of soil porosity on rainfall infiltration under different environmental conditions, providing references for soil and water conservation and water resources management.
