The Correlation Between Ecological Wetlands and Plankton from the Perspective of Environmental Protection

Ying Long

Abstract

Under the perspective of environmental protection, the correlation between ecological wetlands and plankton is particularly important. As a unique ecosystem on earth, wetlands have high ecological value and biodiversity. As a basic component of wetland ecosystems,
plankton plays a key role in maintaining the ecological balance of wetlands, promoting biodiversity, and reflecting environmental changes in
wetlands. This paper discusses the interconnection between ecological wetlands and plankton in the context of environmental protection, analyzes the ecological functions of plankton in wetland ecosystems and their impacts on wetland environments, emphasizes the importance of
protecting wetland ecosystems and plankton diversity, and provides scientific basis for wetland protection and management.
