Abstract


Eplerenone, a selective aldosterone receptor antagonist, is primarily used to treat hypertension and heart failure. This paper provides
a detailed analysis of the synthesis process of eplerenone, focusing on synthesis routes, reaction conditions, catalyst selection, yield, and purity control. The technical details discussed aim to support theoretical foundations and practical guidance for industrial-scale production of
this drug.
