Abstract
This paper aims to explore the control method of software maintenance cost in the field of software engineering, combine theoretical knowledge and practical experience, analyze the factors affecting software maintenance cost in detail, and put forward the corresponding
control strategy. Through literature review, case analysis and other methods, we reveal the importance of software maintenance cost control,
and propose a series of concrete and feasible control measures, in order to provide reference for practitioners and students in the field of software engineering.
