A Review of Research on Narcissistic Employees

Abstract


Narcissism is a personality trait that has attracted a lot of attention from scholars in recent years, and some studies have shown that
employee narcissism is not conducive to the development of work, and the dark personality of narcissism may make people arrogant and unable to communicate well with colleagues and carry out work at work. Other scholars believe that narcissism promotes employees work, and
that narcissism will cause employees to have a series of positive emotional responses, be better able to cope with emergencies at work, and be
more willing to complete some challenging tasks. Based on previous researches, this paper summarizes the connotation of narcissism and the
impact of narcissism on employees work.
