Key Points and Countermeasures for Water Resources Assessment in Railway Engineering Water Intake
Abstract
construction of modern transportation infrastructure. Railway engineering not only significantly improves the efficiency of transportation between regions but also promotes the development of the economy along the railway line. However, the construction and operation of railway
engineering require a large amount of water resources, especially during the construction phase, where activities such as concrete mixing, dust
reduction, and equipment cooling require significant water consumption. Additionally, stable water supply is needed for station water supply
and landscaping during railway operation. Therefore, how to scientifically and reasonably conduct water resources justification for railway
engineering to ensure smooth implementation of the project and sustainable use of water resources has become an important issue. This paper
deeply analyzes the current situation and problems of water resources for railway engineering based on the current situation of water resources
in China and environmental carrying capacity, and proposes feasible justification strategies.
