Study on the Effect of the Structure Layout Optimization on Temperature Field of Brake Pads

Abstract


In order to improve the service life of the brake disc of high speed train, the brake structure composed of cylindrical brake blocks is
optimized by the structure factor. By analyzing the temperature field of the model of non-optimized and optimized brake disc and brake pads
of high speed train, the distributions of temperature of non-optimized and optimized brake disc and brake pads are obtained. The results show
that the highest temperature of brake disc is decreased by optimized brake pads, and the uniformity degree of temperature of brake disc and
brake pads along the radial distribution is improved.
