Abstract

With the development of higher education in China, school bullying has become increasingly prevalent, seriously affecting interpersonal relationships between students and teachers, between teachers, students, and parents, as well as among classmates. Schools serve as one
of the bases for cultivating talents, making it particularly important to educate and guide college students. Although public opinion generally
believes that primary and secondary schools are the main focus for preventing and addressing school bullying, in reality, universities also face
similar issues, albeit in more subtle forms that are easily overlooked. If not given sufficient attention and addressed through scientific education and guidance, these issues may lead to irreversible consequences in the future. This paper aims to analyze the content, characteristics,
and causes of school bullying in universities, and from the perspective of ideological and political education in universities, explore specific
strategies for preventing school bullying. Therefore, through an analysis of the causes of school bullying among college students, this paper
proposes effective prevention or response strategies in the process of campus management based on actual situations.
