The Development Status and Strategies of Green Exhibitions: A Case Study of Chongqing

Abstract


With the global emphasis on sustainable development, green exhibitions, as a form of exhibition that reduces resource consumption
and environmental pollution, have gradually attracted the attention of the industry and academia. This paper takes Chongqing, China as an
example to analyze the current status of the green development of the exhibition industry and identify existing deficiencies. Through in-depth
analysis, this paper proposes the PCBIRD strategy to promote the green transformation of the exhibition industry in cities like Chongqing.
The research results not only provide a reference for the sustainable development of Chongqings exhibition industry but also offer replicable
experiences for other cities.
