Focusing on the Impact of ESG Performance on Total Factor Productivity

Abstract


With the growing global concern for sustainable development, corporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance
has become an important indicator of long-term corporate competitiveness. The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of ESG performance on total factor productivity (TFP), analyze it from both theoretical and practical levels, and provide reference for Chinese enterprises
to achieve sustainable development while pursuing economic efficiency.
