Study on Settlement and Site Selection Characteristics of Tusi Manor in Tibetan Area of Yunnan Province

Abstract


Tusi Manor in Tibetan area of Yunnan Province is a kind of historical wooden structure building, which has both the dual attributes
of official and civil architecture, and its settlement and site selection have distinct national regional characteristics. This paper collected the
original data through field investigation and field surveying and mapping, obtained the architectural samples and basic data of Tusi manor in
Yunnan-Tibetan area, and identified its prototypes. Combined with the phenomenon of regional construction, this paper analyzed the general
characteristics, settlement mechanism and site selection characteristics of Tusi manor in Yunnan-Tibetan area from the perspective of architecture, in order to provide support for the protection of Tusi manor in Yunnan-Tibetan area.
