Research on the Application of Energy Storage Self-Luminous Materials in Pedestrian Bridge Deck Paving

Penglong Zhu, Shihua Mao*

Abstract

To meet the current development requirements of urban roads, it is necessary to improve the pavement materials and forms of pedestrian overpasses. Based on the existing flexible pavement of pedestrian overpasses, this study introduces metallocene polyethylene and energystoring self-luminous materials, and enhances the landscape and durability through a coating form, proposing a new pavement form for pedestrian
overpasses. Through performance evaluation, it is found that the application of energy-storing self-luminous materials in rubber pavement by using the metallocene polyethylene coating form performs well. This method, as a new pavement form, has high feasibility for future promotion.
