Unity in Diversity: The Path to Integrating Ren and Freedom --The Fundamental Cornerstone of Education in the New Era
Abstract
have had a profound impact on how education is understood and practiced. Confucian Ren (benevolence) is a value system rooted in filial
piety and human reflection, striving to inspire love, ethical responsibility, and the establishment of civil order. On the other hand, freedom is a
core value that is highly regarded in Western cultures, with echoes in Eastern thought as well. The integration of these two concepts fosters the
comprehensive development of individuals and promotes harmonious coexistence in society, forming the fundamental cornerstone of education in the new era.
