Comparative Analysis of Machine Translation and Human Translation: A Study on the English Translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Texts
Abstract
quickly provide support for vocabulary correspondence and simple syntax processing, but there are shortcomings in accurately understanding
traditional Chinese medicine terminology, transforming complex sentence structures, and grasping logical coherence. Besides, artificial translation relies on the translators understanding of traditional Chinese medicine culture and language proficiency to produce translations that are
more in line with the target language expression habits and semantically coherent, but the efficiency is relatively low. This study provides a
reference for the translation practice of traditional Chinese medicine texts, in order to promote better translation results of traditional Chinese
medicine and assist in the international dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
