Application of Contemporary Design Aesthetics in the Indoor Environment

Abstract

This paper discusses the application of contemporary design aesthetics in interior environment, and analyzes the characteristics of
contemporary design aesthetics and its role in interior environment design. This paper expounds the application practice of contemporary design aesthetics in interior environment from spatial layout, color collocation, material selection, light and shadow effect, decorative details and
integration of scientific and technological elements in detail, and discusses its future development trend. Through example analysis and theoretical discussion, this paper aims to provide interior designers and owners with how to use contemporary design aesthetics to create a more
comfortable, beautiful and practical indoor environment.
