An Analysis of Subtitle Translation Strategies for Ne Zha 2 from the Perspective of Translation and Communication Studies
Abstract
translation and communication studies. By analyzing translation cases of character names, dialogues, and movie titles, this study delves into
the application of strategies such as transliteration, free translation, literal translation, and creative translation in cross-cultural communication. The research finds that the subtitle translation of Ne Zha 2 effectively preserves the cultural connotations of the original work while considering the comprehension and acceptance of the target audience, thereby promoting the international dissemination of Chinese culture. This
paper provides a new perspective for the study of subtitle translation in animated films and offers valuable insights for enhancing the overseas
communication of Chinese film and television works.
