Research on Cultivating Positive Social Mentality among Students in the Context of Population Aging
Abstract
examining the interplay between psychosocial impacts of an aging society and youth attitudes, it identifies key challenges including intergenerational perception gaps, inadequate educational support systems, and insufficient psychological resilience development. The research demonstrates how aging-induced social anxiety and generational detachment reinforce stereotypes about elderly populations while diminishing
students sense of social responsibility. Through multidimensional solutions integrating educational innovation, community engagement, and
cross-sector collaboration, the paper proposes actionable approaches such as multilayered curriculum reforms, intergenerational experiential
programs, and technology-enhanced empathy building. Particularly emphasizing the critical role of collaborative efforts among families, communities, and educational institutions, the findings offer both theoretical frameworks and practical insights for cultivating intergenerational
solidarity. This work ultimately aims to transform students passive apprehension into proactive citizenship, contributing to the co-creation of
an age-inclusive society.
