Research on Elevator Traction System and Balance Coefficient Detection Method

Zhenhua Li

Abstract

This study aims to propose a method to rapidly detect the balance coefficient of an elevator traction system to optimize the detection
efficiency and accuracy. Comparing the current method, ultrasonic ranging method, traction wheel tension difference measurement method
and rapid detection method. The experiments show that the fast detection method performs the best in the relative error and equilibrium coefficient measurement, with high accuracy and good consistency. The relative error performance of different brands of elevators varies under the
four methods, which may be related to the manufacturing and installation quality of the elevators. This study provides valuable data for the
effective detection of the balance coefficient of the elevator traction system, and helps to ensure the safe operation of the elevator and prolong
the service life.
