An Investigation into the Impact of Differences in Psychological States on Language Learning Outcomes in a Cross-Cultural Context: A Case Study of Internship Experience in the Abroad

Abstract


This paper explores in depth how differences in psychological states in a cross-cultural context affect the language learning, particularly listening and speaking. By meticulously documenting the authors psychological state changes during the internship in the abroad,
combined with interview data, results of psychological measurement scales, and selflection, this paper establishes a model of the relationship
between psychological states and the effectiveness of language learning. The research results show that positive changes in psychological
states can promote the skills of English learners especially in listening and speaking.
