Practical Exploration of Contextualized Teaching and Learning of Aviation English Terminology in Vocational Classrooms
Abstract
directly affect the employment compatibility and development potential of vocational college students. Traditional classrooms usually take
individual words as teaching focus, resulting in low memory efficiency and inadequate practical application ability among students, which
makes it difficult for traditional classrooms to meet the requirements of the aviation industry for compound technical talents. Contextualized
teaching and learning method employs immersive learning to enhance students' understanding and practical application of terminology and
deepen students' understanding of its application scenarios by creating language environment that simulates real working scenarios. By developing appropriate contextualized teaching and learning schemes based on the course characteristics and textbook content of aviation majors,
vocational colleges can significantly improve students' accuracy in mastering terminology, proficiency in application, and job adaptability to
provide strong support for cultivating technical talents with professional language literacy and promote the integration of vocational education
with industry demands.
