Exploring the Effectiveness of Mindfulness Training in Reducing Psychological Stress of Postgraduates

Jinghan Shang

Abstract

This paper adopts experimental methods, literature research methods, and mathematical statistics methods. Taking 120 postgraduate
students from a certain university as the experimental subjects and the "Mindfulness Training Manual" as the prototype, a mindfulness training program is proposed to study the improvement of anxiety among different postgraduate students in the postgraduate group, and to provide
teaching suggestions for intervention to promote the mental health of postgraduate students. Research suggests that integrating mindfulness
training into postgraduate students can effectively improve their anxiety regulation level. After regulation, the anxiety level of postgraduate
students is reduced by about 30%. The concentration in class and the enthusiasm for course participation of postgraduate students have been
significantly enhanced. In the future, the arrangement of mindfulness training for the postgraduate group can be optimized to further alleviate
their anxiety.
