Challenges Facing the Commercialization of Energy Storage in the Wind Power Industry and Their Solutions

Xiaoyang Dong

Abstract

With the rapid development of renewable energy, the application of wind power has gradually expanded globally. However, due to
the volatility and instability of wind power, efficiently storing wind energy has become a key challenge in promoting its commercialization.
Energy storage technology is considered an effective solution to the instability of wind power, but there are still many challenges in integrating
energy storage with wind power. This study mainly explores the major challenges faced by the wind power industry in the commercialization
of energy storage and proposes corresponding solutions. First, the paper analyzes the technical and economic issues in energy storage technology and commercialization models. Secondly, the study presents several solutions, including policy innovation, technological breakthroughs,
and business model innovation. Finally, the paper looks forward to the future development path of wind power energy storage commercialization and suggests strengthening policy support, market mechanism reforms, and industry collaboration to promote the widespread application
of wind power energy storage technology.
