Spatial Production and Ritual Interaction: Healing Mechanisms and Activation Pathways of Intangible Cultural Heritage Tourism in the Digital Era A Case Study of Nanchong

Facheng Du

Abstract

This study tackles the persistent "form-spirit dichotomy" in the digital preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). Taking
Nanchong ICH as a case study, this research pioneers an activation path aimed at fostering a "Poetic Living Space." We construct an integrated framework synthesizing Lefebvre's spatial production and Collins' interaction ritual chains theories, conceptualized as "digital empowermentspatial productiontouristic healing." The study demonstrates how digital tools drive the creative transformation of cultural resources
via three mechanisms: narrative reconstruction, scenographic reconfiguration, and ritual revitalization. It further reveals how such spaces
generate healing effects through aesthetic immersion, cultural identity, and emotional resonance. The study concludes by proposing concrete
implementation strategies based on a systematic assessment of Nanchong's ICH tourism development.
