From Productivity to New Quality Productivity: A Two-way Inquiry of Theoretical Logic and Historical Logic
Abstract
The evolution from traditional productive forces to new qualitative productive forces can be examined through both theoretical and
historical perspectives. Adam Smith emphasized that the division of labor enhances production efficiency; Friedrich List expanded the concept
of productive forces, highlighting the role of institutional frameworks and educational systems; Karl Marx revealed the dialectical relationship
between productive forces and production relations. New qualitative productive forces, powered by intelligent systems and digital technologies, drive the transformation of workers' skill structures, foster knowledge sharing and collaborative innovation, reshape production organization and social relations, representing the development and practical application of productive forces theory in the new era.
