Research on Disaster Prevention Strategies in Construction Engineering: Enhancing Building Safety and Disaster Response Capability

Lu Sun

Abstract

This study focuses on disaster prevention strategies in construction engineering, exploring key measures to enhance building safety
and disaster response capabilities. By analyzing common types of disasters in construction projects and their impacts, the fundamental principles of disaster prevention design are elaborated. The research emphasizes critical strategies such as structural design optimization, material
selection, disaster prevention facility configuration, and proposes methods for establishing disaster monitoring and early warning systems as
well as emergency response plans. The results indicate that the comprehensive application of multiple disaster prevention strategies can significantly improve the safety and disaster resilience of construction projects, providing important references for the sustainable development
of the construction industry.
