Analysis of the Influence of Soil Porosity on Rainfall Infiltration under Different Environmental Conditions
Abstract
This study investigated the effects of soil porosity on rainfall infi ltration rate and depth under different environmental conditions, such as vegetation cover, slope and rainfall intensity. Through the experiment and data analysis of soil porosity and rainfall infi ltration rate under typical environmental conditions such as forest area, grassland and bare land, the results showed that the higher the soil porosity, the rainfall infi ltration rate and penetration depth increased signifi cantly. By introducing the calculation formula of soil porosity and combining experimental data and analysis results, this paper reveals the infl uence of soil porosity on rainfall infi ltration under different environmental conditions, providing references for soil and water conservation and water resources management.
