Abstract


With the increasing awareness of fitness among the general public and the popularization of sports culture in higher education institutions, the sports consumption habits of college students have gradually become a vital component of the campus economy. This paper analyzes the specific habits and characteristics of college students sports consumption and explores their impact on the economic development
of areas surrounding campuses. The study finds that sports consumption by college students not only promotes the development of industries
such as sports goods, gyms, and sports venues but also contributes to the prosperity of related service sectors like dining and entertainment
around campuses. Furthermore, the paper, combined with actual cases, examines the profound impact of different consumption behaviors on
economic development, providing reference for the development of related industries and policy-making.
