He Xu

Abstract

This paper discusses the current situation, problems and countermeasures of the transformation and upgrading of marine fishery in
Beibu Gulf of China. The Beibu Gulf fishery is facing the challenge of resource decline due to overfishing and environmental degradation.
The study found that the region has deficiencies in fishery resource management, infrastructure, regulatory means, and pressure for transformation and upgrading. This paper puts forward some suggestions, such as strengthening the construction of fishery facilities, improving the
management and supervision ability, broadening the investment mechanism and promoting the innovation of industrial integration, so as to
promote the win-win situation of fishery resources protection and economic development in Beibu Gulf, and provide reference for the sustainable development of marine fishery.
