Can Digital Finance Accelerate the Improvement of Enterprise Production Efficiency?

Abstract


This article examines the impact of Chinas digital inclusive finance on corporate total factor productivity using a two-way fixed
model. It matches Peking Universitys Digital Inclusive Finance Index data (20112022) with A-share listed companies registration locations.
Results show that digital inclusive finance significantly enhances regional production efficiency. The study also finds that both the breadth and
depth of digital finance coverage positively boost corporate total factor productivity.
