A Study on the Impact of Digital Transformation on Enterprise Organizational Structure Reform

Qiuming Qin

Abstract

Against the backdrop of the digital economy, enterprises have launched digital transformation initiatives to enhance market competitiveness and operational efficiency. Digital transformation is not merely a technological upgrade, but also exerts a profound impact on
the reform of enterprise organizational structures. Starting from the connotation of digital transformation, this paper analyzes its influences
on enterprise organizational structures, including the flattening of organizational structures, the restructuring of functional modules, and the
strengthening of cross-departmental collaboration mechanisms. Through typical cases and theoretical analysis, it explores how enterprises can
adjust their organizational models to adapt to the digital environment and improve agility and innovation capabilities during the transformation process. Digital transformation drives enterprise organizational structures to develop in the direction of flattening, platformization, and
collaboration, which is a key path for enterprises to achieve sustainable development.
