Strategic Construction and Practical Pathways of Enterprise Competitive Advantage in the Digital Era
Abstract
mechanisms of enterprise competitive advantage are undergoing profound change. Drawing on the Resource-Based View (RBV), Dynamic
Capability Theory, and Digital Transformation Theory, this study constructs a strategic framework for building enterprise competitive advantage in the digital era. It emphasizes that enterprises should take data as a key production factor and leverage digital technologies to enable
resource integration, process optimization, and organizational innovation, thereby forming a sustainable dynamic advantage. Using a mixedmethod approach combining literature review and case analysis, the study identifies three major pathways for constructing competitive advantage: (1) digital resource integration and capability reconstruction; (2) data-driven value innovation; and (3) organizational transformation
through the integration of digital intelligence. The findings reveal that systematic design and implementation of digital strategies not only
redefine the boundaries of enterprise competition but also provide theoretical and practical guidance for sustaining long-term advantage in an
uncertain environment.
