Theory, Literature, and Prospects of the Successful Association Mechanism between Individuals and Organizations: from the Perspective of STAME

Lili Song

Abstract

Against the backdrop of the constantly strengthening VUCA context, how individuals and organizations can achieve collaborative
success in highly uncertain and volatile environments has become an important frontier issue in management and applied psychology. Based
on the STAME (Strategy - Tenacity - Action - Motivation - Enthusiasm) integration framework, this article considers Strategy, Tenacity, Action, Motivation, and Enthusiasm as key psychological behavioral variables that affect individual and organizational success. It systematically
reviews the theoretical foundations of dynamic ability theory, Psychological Capital theory, Goal Setting Theory, Flow Theory, and resourcebased view. Based on this, it summarizes and compares the core journal research on career success, organizational success, Psychological
Capital, organizational resilience, and other fields in China and abroad in the past three years. Research has shown that: firstly, individual
success and organizational success exhibit a bidirectional association structure of "Psychological Capital - action - mechanism situational embedding"; Secondly, Action plays a crucial mediating role between psychological variables such as Strategy, Tenacity, Motivation, and Enthusiasm and successful outcomes; Thirdly, organizational dynamic capability and organizational resilience can significantly amplify the role of
STAME in various dimensions, achieving value co creation between individuals and organizations. On the basis of comprehensive evaluation,
this article further points out that there are still significant shortcomings in the explanatory power of existing research in terms of theoretical
integration depth, dynamic process characterization, and new organizational forms (such as remote teams, platform-based organizations, decentralized organizations). Based on this, it is proposed that future research can be further expanded in dimensions such as multi-level longitudinal design, behavioral data mining, and context specific model construction.
