The Predicament and Improvement of Information Disclosure Supervision under the Background of the Registration-based Reform

Hao Sun

Abstract

The core essence of the registration system reform is to take information disclosure as the center and return the right of value judg
ment to the market, which puts forward higher requirements for information disclosure supervision. Starting from the pilot registration system
on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, Chinas registration system reform has gradually advanced to the whole market. The infor
mation disclosure supervision system has been continuously improved in practice, but it still faces multiple dilemmas such as uneven disclo
sure quality, insufficient regulatory coordination, a need for strengthened accountability system, and inadequate investor adaptability. Based
on the institutional logic of the registration system reform, combined with the current regulatory practice and market characteristics, this paper
systematically analyzes the existing problems of information disclosure supervision, and puts forward improvement paths from four dimen
sions: institutional system, regulatory mechanism, accountability, and market ecology, so as to provide reference for improving the efficiency
of information disclosure supervision under the full-market registration system.
