Research on the Optimization of Government Service Platforms Under the Background of Digital Government Construction

Abstract

Against the backdrop of the deepening advancement of digital transformation worldwide, the construction of digital government
has become a core strategy for governments in various countries to enhance administrative efficiency, optimize public service delivery,
and modernize governance. As the central vehicle for digital government development, government service platforms play a key role in
connecting government departments with businesses and the public. Their operational efficiency and service quality directly determine
the effectiveness of digital government initiatives. However, many regional government service platforms still face prominent issues such
as insufficient data sharing, fragmented service functions, poor user experience, and inadequate operation and maintenance mechanisms,
which hinder the further progress of digital government construction. This paper begins by defining the core concepts of digital govern
ment and government service platforms and reviewing relevant theoretical foundations. It then analyzes the current status and existing
problems in the construction of these platforms. Finally, it proposes targeted optimization strategies based on practical cases and advanced
experiences. The research aims to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for the optimization and upgrading of government
service platforms, promote the integrated development of digital government and public services, and better meet the diverse service needs
of businesses and the public.
