Research on Improving Inbound Tourism Service Quality Empowered by Artificial Intelligence under the Background of Visa-Free Opening

Abstract


With the expansion of visa-free entry policies, inbound tourism is experiencing rapid growth and increasing demands for convenient, personalized, and multilingual services. Artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance tourism service quality through intelligent consultation, translation, personalized recommendations, smart travel planning, tourist-flow management, and data-driven governance. By improving accessibility, efficiency, safety, and visitor satisfaction, AI helps destinations better respond to the challenges of rising international
arrivals. However, issues such as data fragmentation, privacy concerns, uneven digital infrastructure, and limited cross-sector coordination
remain obstacles. Therefore, AI should be integrated with human-centered services to create a more efficient, inclusive, and high-quality
inbound tourism experience.
