Research on the Influencing Mechanism of High-Quality Regional Economic Development under the Background of the Digital Economy
Abstract
innovation, industrial upgrading, and improvements in green productivity. Beyond traditional growth factors such as capital and labor, digital
technologies, data resources, and digital infrastructure enhance economic efficiency and foster new development opportunities. This study
proposes a quantitative empirical framework using provincial panel data, fixed-effects models, mediation analysis, and spatial econometric
methods to examine the mechanisms through which the digital economy influences regional development. The expected results suggest that
the digital economy significantly promotes high-quality economic growth, with stronger effects in economically advanced regions and notable
spatial spillover effects across neighboring areas. The findings provide insights for optimizing digital infrastructure construction, improving
regional innovation capacity, and advancing coordinated regional development.
