Junqi Li

Abstract

Eating disorders, as a common psychosomatic disorder, have been developing rapidly in China in recent years and involve a wide
range of regions. Anorexia nervosa (AN) is one of the eating disorders, which is characterized by a long course of disease, multiple co-morbidities, high lifetime prevalence and a certain degree of lethality. With the development of society, the rising number of patients has attracted
the attention of many researchers, and long-term studies have been conducted on its pathogenesis and treatment. In this paper, we review the
psychopathological mechanisms of AN from the physiological, psychological and social perspectives, combining the results of past studies,
hoping that it will be helpful for future research on it and even on eating disorders.
