The Influence of General Self-Efficacy on Professional Identity of Medical Students

Abstract


Objective: To explore whether the general self-efficacy of medical students has a positive impact on professional identity.
Methods: From November 2022 to September 2023, medical students were investigated by general information questionnaire, professional
identity questionnaire and general self-efficacy questionnaire. Results: 369 subjects scored 35.26 points for general self-efficacy and 69.57
points for professional identity. There were significantly different (P<0.05) between scores of professional identity and general self-efficacy of
medical students. And there were significant differences in political status, occupational identity and general self-efficacy scores (P<0.05).
