Abstract
The industry English courses in vocational colleges are not only teaching platforms for vocational skills, but also play an important
role in students ideological and political education. This article explores the necessity and challenges of integrating ideological and political
elements into vocational English courses. By constructing a scientific ideological and political curriculum system, innovating teaching methods, and enhancing teachers ideological and political awareness and abilities, we aim to achieve the integration of knowledge transmission
and value guidance in industry English courses. The strategies proposed in this article can help enhance students professional competence and
sense of social responsibility.
