A Review of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Active and Passive Rehabilitation Intervention for the Balance System of Hemiplegia after Stroke
Abstract
which seriously affect walking safety and daily activity ability. Transcranial magnetic stimulation can promote neural plasticity by regulating
cortical excitability and interhemispheric inhibition, while active and passive rehabilitation rely on motor intention, task training and sensory
input to enhance the reconstruction of the sensory-motor network. The combined application of the two has opened up a new approach of
central regulation combined with peripheral training for the recovery of balance function. This article mainly reviews from four aspects: neurophysiological basis, collaborative mechanism, clinical application, and research limitations. At the same time, it explores the development
directions of precise targeting, parameter optimization, and closed-loop rehabilitation.
