Research Progress of Carbonic Anhydrase in Colorectal Cancer

Minhong Zou, Shipeng Lu, Ya Peng*

Abstract

Carbonic anhydrase (CA) is an important group of proteins involved in the survival, invasion, and metastasis of solid cancers. It has
been found that the CA family is closely related to the occurrence, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of colorectal cancer, and CA research
has become a potential direction for cancer treatment. Therefore, we reviewed the research progress of CA isoforms and their role in colorectal cancer.

Keywords
