Meridians are a fundamental concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), believed to be channels through which Qi and
blood flow, connecting organs, limbs, and bones while regulating the balance of Qi and blood within the body. For a long time, the existence
and physiological basis of meridians have been questioned within Western scientific paradigms. However, with advancements in biophysics, emerging studies are gradually revealing the physical foundation and biophysical mechanisms of meridians. This paper reviews recent
research findings from biophysics, neuroscience, and related fields to explore the biophysical basis of meridian theory and provide evidence
supporting its scientific validity.
