Luqing He

Abstract

Lumbar facet osteoarthritis is a common degenerative disease of the spine, which has a serious impact on the quality of life of patients. Statistics show that the incidence rate of the disease can reach 30% -40% in middle-aged and elderly people. This review focuses on the
clinical and experimental research of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for the treatment oflumbar facet osteoarthritis. After reviewing relevant literature, this article summarizes the role of traditional Chinese medicine formulas in improving patient symptoms and regulating
pathological mechanisms, and elaborates on their clinical application status and experimental research results. The purpose is to provide reference for in-depth research and clinical practice in this field, and to clarify the value and development direction of traditional Chinese medicine
formulas in the treatment of lumbar small joint osteoarthritis.
