Abstract

Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSNHL), as a common emergency in otolaryngology, has been a disease of great concern in
the field of otolaryngology due to its increasing incidence and its great impact on patients physical and mental health. The etiology and pathogenesis of sudden deafness remain unclear. This article summarizes the latest research progress on the pathogenesis and prognostic factors of
sudden deafness.
