Key Points and Improvement Strategies of Nursing Quality Evaluation in Elderly Patients Operating Room
Abstract
room, and to explore effective improvement strategies. Methods: 200 elderly surgical patients in the operating room of a hospital from January to December, 2024 were selected as the research object. 100 patients who received routine nursing from January to June in 2024 were set
as the control group, and 100 patients who implemented improved nursing strategy from July to December in 2023 were set as the observation group. The nursing quality was evaluated from nursing safety, nursing service and patient satisfaction, and the two groups of data were
compared in detail. Results: The incidence of nursing safety incidents in the observation group was only 3%, which was much lower than that
in the control group (12%). The average score of nursing service reached 85, which was significantly higher than 70 in the control group. The
satisfaction degree of patients is as high as 95%, which has obvious advantages compared with 80% of the control group. Conclusion: Clearly
defining the evaluation points and implementing the improvement strategies can significantly improve the nursing quality of elderly patients
in the operating room, effectively ensure the safety of patients surgery and greatly optimize their surgical experience.
